Sam Thomson is the UK Brand and Values Director for The Body Shop, responsible for reigniting both sales growth and brand love for the iconic British retailer. In his 4 years with the business, The Body Shop has begun its transformation from a body care retailer to a beauty destination, punching significantly above its weight in PR, social and digital marketing (winning for the past 2 years L2’s prestigious “Number 1 Digital Beauty Brand in the UK” award). The store, and store colleagues, have also played a fundamental role in this transformation, with an increased focus on personalised, friendly advice and an engaging shopping experience. Prior to his time at The Body Shop, Sam spent 11 years at Procter & Gamble in a variety of local, European and Global marketing roles.
